Good deal Speedy. You’ll enjoy the reel and it deserves a nice, light rod to ride on. Doesn’t have to be expensive but with a light rod the LT combos I have are very sensitive and a pleasure in hand.

I may order two more to put on my other JDM rods that need a JDM reel. My OCD makes me think that a JDM rod must be fitted with a JDM reel.

Hoosier, we must be related. My mind is working the same way lately. Other reels I have just don’t feel good in my hand lately.

Suggestion for a Rod that is less than oh say $75 or 50 ? ..or less haha. Academy or Cabela's. Then again, still a few cold months ahead, maybe i will have my job back when I return from health issues
I also have a older Zebco underspin/trigger reel that is fun, It is on a Ugly stick,

Speedy, I have two rods that are noticeably lighter than any of the others. One is a Lunakia and the other is a Major Craft Finetail Banshee. I prefer the banshee and they aren’t that expensive as JDM rods go. Mine is 6’ and a pleasure with a good reel on it.

    Thank you

I have to admit my first searches are turning up those that are well out my budget, lol.

risking the thread getting off the Reel subject. (punster, eh?)

This line of Rods seem popular, and in budget.
