    Default The Tickfaw River

    Feeshed da tic Wednesday afternoon.

    Conditions were perfect.
Water wuz down a tad and muddy.

Hopping the sun would come out but never happen.

    Caught plenty of drinks.
    Kept a few.

Caught a nice green trout. Threw her back to make some babies.

Good post, I've been wanting to get out on the Tickfaw and Tangi for some Sac a Lait before all the Spring and Summer boating traffic. Tightlines.

Da Bayou was muddy and full of floating debris from the recent rain events too. Curious Dinks on structure but bigens down deep on the bottom or off by themselves. No boat traffic is nice isn’t it?

My last few trips the bigger fish were on the very bottom. You literally had to place the jig right on their noses and slowly pull it away for them to start trailing.
