Hello crew! Just starting over here with a fresh profile and a new screen name, sometimes it's just easier that way. It looks like I might have more time to share and post now so I thought that I would just say hello. I joined the Forum way back in May of 2005, I was "Treefrog" back then, but my real name is Brandon Jennings. Joined up under my new handle, which is short for Crappie Crossroads, more about that later but for now just dropping a post and seeing if there are any familiar old faces. Looking forward to your post and meeting those of you that I don't already know.

Hey Brandon, good to hear from you! I still read the posts, but had been somewhat house bound for the past 2 years taking care of an elderly mother, so not really fishing. She passed last month, so as soon as I get a bit of time on my hands, I'm hoping to hit the lake and see if I can remember how to set a hook in SOMETHING...might be a log, rock, or turtle, but it'll be a fun fight.
Take care, and looking forward to seeing your posts.
Scott

Scott, completely understand that man and sorry to hear about your mom. I have also been caring for my Mom since my dad passed several years ago, when he got sick I kind of had to give up my crappie travels and well it just took the air right out of my sail. I have not set the hook on a crappie in so long I cant remember that feeling. Same here, things have aligned to where it looks like this year will fishing will be a part of my life again. Take care and maybe we can go yank a few one day!
