I’ve seen salt water flies from a similar material made reasonably thick, then the sides are shaved or scissored off to make it skinny but tall. Just a thought. I think they’ll catch fish like they are.

I use neon permanent markers to add color to some of my baits. Really makes a difference in the visibility of the baits. FISH NEED TO SEE IT BEFORE THEY EAT IT !
