I came across this site a week or so ago. It's called Creek Life Lure Co. They have some terminal tackle that I haven't seen anywhere else, at least in the U.S. I ordered some of their micro sized Cheburashka weights as well as each size of their micro EWG hooks. My plan is to pair these up with some of the micro baits I have. They also have some 1/32oz and 1/16oz tungsten bullet weights to make up some micro Texas rigs to try. Change it up from the small Ned jigs I've been using to see how they do. Looks promising. Another reason to spend more money.

Thanks for sharing.
If you cast it they will come.
Thanks for sharing I will definitely be putting in an order. Have you tried their braided line?

I have a handful of these so called "cheb" weights as most Eastern Europeans like to refer to them, ranging from 2g to 5g bought off Ebay. They are very popular in the UK for anglers in the course (perch) and LRF (light rock fishing) communities disciplined in only artificial lure. I've dabbled with it a few times catching mostly bluegill and green sunfish. It's claimed to fame is that a combination of different size hook and weight can be changed very fast while on the water. Thanks for sharing!
I have been using something very similar for about 3 years now. The small EWG hooks he has listed are the same as the small Eurotackle EWG hooks. They work quite well. I prefer the Varivas EWG Inch hooks in both the small and regular size. They are very close in size to the ones you mentioned. The Varivas Inch hooks are a fine diameter and extremely sharp hook that works very well. I use small plastics on an EWG rigged Texas style with a 1/32 ounce tungsten bullet weight from Nako. This is rigged on an UL rod with SOS 2 lb. line. This setup is ALWAYS in my boat. We call this the magic rod. This is the most effective panfish setup I have ever used. This will out fish my three favorite baits, the Slider Fishing 1" grub, small Mepps spinners like the spin fly, and the Trout Magnet!
I have tried a ton of different plastics on the EWG rig to find the perfect bait. The ideal plastic is about 1.5" long. The problem with most small plastics is body diameter. It doesn't take a lot of body diameter to fill the gap on these small EWG hooks to render them useless. The vast majority of small plastics do this. My favorite plastic to use is from Sho-Me Baits and is called the Itty Bitty. He has a website, Google Sho-Me Baits. I have also found that 1.5" tubes work really well. They do have a wider diameter body, but the are hollow and collapse when the fish bites. These are cheap, can be had anywhere, and are available in a lot of colors. The Mule Fishing Horsefly is another that works OK. The Trout Magnet would be ideal if were not to short.
Essentially a weedless panfish rig. It took me a couple of years of screwing around to find the right components and get it right. When I have sporadic weed cover or logs and branches, the EWG panfish Texas rig will get it done! I like to cast it out, let it sink to the bottom, reel 3-5 turns while doing the Trout Magnet twitch, let it fall to the bottom, and repeat all the way back to the boat. I have caught 4" bluegill on this rig.
On a random note the owner of Creek Life Lure Co lives in the same town as I do. I have met up with him and talked and bought some of his baits and terminal tackle. I also bought that hand carved dragon rod from him. He is a very nice guy and has some great products. Pic of the rod for fun.
