Default An observation of a new rod....2?

Hello all! I've been off this lovely Crappie.com grid for quite some time due to work transition and getting a teenager ready for college. Anyhow I'm now back posting and what not to love about sharing the excitement of a new rod purchase with like-minded folks here? The last time i posted such observation OR unboxing if you will was in 2022!! So let's jump right in! I hope you'll like this read! But before all else I like to thank the folks working hard @ MaguraProShop (no relation at all) for express-delivery my rod all the way from Croatia in such manner I'm still speechless!!
I've been saving and passing on many nice JDM rods these past months just so I can get my hand on this, my 1st true Hi-End ultralight rod: the Daiwa Presso Ags Ltd Italian Special...AKA the 20th Anniversary Presso. A rod so sought after that many Japanese sites all in back order. The AGS guide rods are only available in Daiwa or St Croix ( exclusive rights) rods, to my knowledge of course. It is not cheap BUT it is a thing of beauty. This is a purchase I made sight seen, but not tested or any reviews read!

Here compared to Abu Eradicator real finesse...

    Now comparing the blank diameter!

Lastly, I haven't tested yet but the best action description would be somewhat between an Aging rod (Abu Eradicator R.F. 510) and the Daiwa Iprimi 6 ft UL (parabolic). This Ags Presso is a ML solid tip. Heres the spec sheet!

    Very nice !
I’ve heard of those rods , I think it was in a YouTube video.

Best I remember, they’re out of the price range I set on myself.

Thank all for commenting! In all honesty I got it for well below what Daiwa msrp of 79000 yen. But in stock is another story. Best regards!

At today’s conversion that would be $518.76 .

SuperD, that was my reaction when I saw the price...lol. Then I also saw what this Presso look like comparing to its little brother, the Presso Air Ags, of which I remembered a YouTube fishing persona who own not just 1 but 4 touting their technological marvel. However I was saving my dough for perhaps my last UL rod purchase and it need be in the right LOOK department as well. The Presso Air was in my radar since it came out but the Presso 20TH Anniversary was more some how...lol. Thanks for chiming in!
