Ok, I'm interested Varivas has 8 different braids listed. I use PowerPro 8Slick for vertical jigging, what are the top two Varivas braids for casting very lite jigheads with spinning reels. Currently using 4# Nano line. I'm going to buy a few spools for testing. I need a help with the direction to look. Thanks

I use the Infinity PE X8 in 5.6# test. Been using it for a few years. Casts great.......breaks at its rated strength. Of course all Varivas lines break at their rated strength. I also use the Avani Saltwater Finesse X8 in the 5.6# and 7.5# test when fishing a D2 jig for trout. Both of these lines are smallest braided line that there is. Coming in at 0.074mm in diameter. In my opinion Varivas make the best lines on the market.

I’d mail it today but I can’t weigh it. I got no power cause of the storms here.

Yes, I went to their website too, decided to check the CDC crew for direction. I'm going to setup some rods for a attempt to break the local states here Flounder records too with a heavier poundage. Casting lite jigs & plugs is the main motivation for me.
If you need a sinking braid the Double Cross PE is infused with polyester. I also use it when up on White and Norfork River. Chasing bigger trout I need a little more power. It tends to behave better than normal braid in the wind.
