Default Kayak Trip Report, Forest Ingram Lake, part 2

I made another short trip to Forest Ingram this morning since I had the fish dialed in. Basically, it was a repeat of yesterday with fish in 10 to 12 feet of water feeding heavy on shad. I kept another limit. You have to cull through 5 or 6 shorts for each fish that is 9" or over, but at least the action is nonstop. The water still has about 18" of visibility and was 86 degrees at daylight. Surprising with the warm weather, but all fish are thick and healthy looking.

I’ve got to stop being so hard headed and start fishing there more. 20 minutes away and I never go there.

    Damion Kidd,

We'll have to link up some time, I'll show you the little bit I've figured out about Forest.

I've also still got that Steel Zebco 33 in the back of my Xterra to return.
