I'm Both very happy, and Very sad at the same time Jim. We, Ms. Joyce and I are praying for you all over Toby. I know all to well the pain of losing a fur baby. Our condolences my friend.
The happy part is that you were able to catch up with LED HED. Been wondering how he was getting along. Glad He's doing well.

It's over now, seems like it's not real and I'm just having a bad dream. From the time he was a pup we fed him a half of a banana for dessert and he loved them. At the vet yesterday I gave him a whole one and it was gone in seconds. We had heard about some bad experiences with the final injection so we waited until he fell asleep and left before it was administered. The whole family and some friends came by the past couple days to say good bye and he loved it. Everyone got Toby kisses. I'm happy that he's no longer in pain. I appreciate all the support here.

Sorry for your loss Jim. My forever dog, Doris, died of cancer about 18 months ago. Still miss that dog. We have two dogs now. One is named ND, Not Doris. She can't fill what is missing, but she tries

Prayers for you Jim. Losing a Fur Baby is as rough as losing a human child. Momma all the time reminds me, our fur babies are human...four legged, furry humans. As stated, give it a little bit, and go get you another baby. It wont fill the hole of Toby, But will help.

So glad to hear he's okay!! The last I heard about him was when I sent him some feathers.

I feel for you and Skeet losing your dogs!! I let my lab go years ago and still miss her!! As hard as it is just remember all the good times and crazy times and it will help you EVEN if it makes you cry!!

Thanks everyone. Yesterday wasn't to bad for me since we had my two two year old grandsons over and they keep both of us busy. Except when little Jim grabs my thumb and leads me through the house to the back door and says "open, see Toby". I didn't know what to say. I still have my Yorky, Henry so he will be getting all the attention now. Need to go fishing, that's always good medicine.

Can’t wait to see his giant coppernose bluegill from my past home lake. I wish I can catch some like that.

Just_Bass, been by Canyon Lake many times when I was home on leave. For a while Mom and dad lived in Lake Elsinore, and worked at Sun City Bowl. Unfortunately, I never got an opportunity to fish it, just drive by...Pretty country though...
