Default Here we go again. Back to the hospital.

Went back to Dr yesterday to get something done about the tape adhesive reaction. I was concerned about possible infection.

He area was scrubbed then treated with antibiotic cream. It was then bandaged with the same covering that is on my back and I had not shown any sensitivity to.

The Dr was shocked that I showed no reaction during this process that had very obviously grossed Vicki out. I told him my extreme tolerance to pain had kicked in. I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing to possess??

Looks like I dodged the proverbial bullet.

That does look pretty painful and gnarly. Hope the new tape does the job! Smart to get it checked out in case of infection.

Funny thing about moving one’s spine around is you get to feel nerves you never knew you had. Feeling them is not necessarily a good thing. Getting full feeling back is causing me to not be able to sleep but a couple of hours at a time. I’m comfortable sitting and walking with my back brace but no way I could ever get comfortable in it lying down.

My side is much better. I have a Dr appt on Friday and hopefully I’ll be able to start driving short distances with my brace on.

Driving will let me get back
into my taxidermy studio working on some small projects. I have a 2+ pound Redear and an 8+ pound bass to do. I also have some more ideas for new Pico Crankbait patterns. One should be on Mitch’s desk this week.

Thanks for your support and prayers. They are felt.
