    Default LVS32 versus PS22

I'm fishing a PS22 and like it ok but I like it well enough I've been considering upgrading to LVS32. I know alot of you guys are hard core on the 32 or even the 34. I would like some opions on what I'm missing not having one versus just the PS 22. I don't do alot of sniping but also can't say I won't. My fishing style is broad and there's not a way that I don't fish or can't fish with my setup except single fish targeting. My passion is definitely dark holes under docks!!! Thanks for any input.

From what I've seen on videos of the two ... LVS32 tdx gives more detail and target separation. LVS32 also shows you what's behind the tdx (under the boat) if you happen to pass over it without initially noticing that you've done so.

I had PS22 and have LVS32. Its the difference between Blk/White, Up/Down, In/Out. Crappie vs Catfish fillets. There is really very little to compare.

Want to make sure I heard you. Did you say that difference is so big there is no comparison?

Respectfully speaking, I have sold and installed the LVS32's for customers and PS22's for myself, it is two different tools to those who have mastered both. I have been offered LVS32 systems complete but my style of single pole fishing the PS22 is the bomb. Looking at fish, needing to see possibly what it is before dropping a jig, desiring to see the jig bitein detail in real time the LVS32 is the tool for that. You want to see which direction the underwater structure is after drifting off, you want to simply measure how far the structure is from your vertical drop zone, you want to observe that fish are present without counting their scales the PS22 is a superior tool. No 6 sonars that must run thru software to merge the image, no extra Box to mount, Plug in to use - unplug your stick and remove the entire transducer when you don't need it. I use one PS22 on a stick between 3 boats, it is stored in my Fishin' Expedition when not needed. I like the simplicity of the PS22 over the LVS32 Livescope system (I think you can tell by now). Certainly Livescope is the Best for Sniping and that needs to be said too.

    Default LVS32 versus PS22

I use LS because I still fish tournaments and you can’t compete without it. But as mentioned as far as just fishing and easily locating wood cover to fish the PS 22 is great. I wish I hadn’t sold mine. With the PS 22 I actually felt like I was still fishing versus watching every single fish bite but it took out the aggravation of locating fishing spots solely using GPS. I will probably have another PS 22 at some point.

Users need to have "Mastered Both" to really know the advantages of either. I don't tournament fish, I did enough tournaments in my previous profession and it turned it into "work". Before either transducer was invented I had 5000 Crappie catch years, now single pole fishing, focusing on feeling the bite is what yanks my chain these days. The PS22 works best in my application.
