Yes sir life is truly a gift thankful everyday. I’m with you on the crappie and sweet tea but I’ll take a fresh cup of coffee after. Been off Copenhagen for 5 years now.

One of favorite creeks run right thru the middle of Dallas, Texas and has water treatment plant 200 yards from my favorite fishing hole. Further down the creek their is a huge shopping mall 300 yards from the creek. During the spring when the creek is high with flow I can catch 100 white bass a day a couple of 5lb plus hybrids. Using white bass filets in fish tacos is heaven on earth. I am one who believes that if it is in moderation it can't end your life sooner than you expect.

I'm in the medical field...so I read clinical studies all the time.

The latest, linked to the concentration of pollutants in commonly consumed seafood, specifically fish, suggests there is a very strong correlation between a diet high in wild caught fish and malignant melanoma.

It’s like the applesauce thing , as a kid we were fed it by the gallons with all the pediatricians saying how great it was for kids
They sprayed the trees to get the apples to ripen evenly, it was considered a non toxic chemical ….
UNTIL you heated said chemical in the applesauce manufacturing and it transformed the non toxic chemical into a well known carcinogen….
Now all the pediatricians recommend you don’t feed it to kids ….
And …Sweet and low is safe too ….right

Everything in moderation, right. They say too much water can kill you. I think that's called being drowned though.

    It's called "water intoxication".

Basically, if you drink enough water (has to be a LOT), it dilutes the electrolytes in your bloodstream enough that your heart muscle can no longer repolarize.

I don't catch enough fish to ever have to worry about a threshold limit of toxins.
