    I'm beginning to take more time with a grooming of the hair as well, not quite as good as you yet. Those are some nice looking jigs for sure.

    How do you achieve that layered effect? Do you clip each hair individually?

    Alittle bunch on top and then bottom,,,then use second color on each side,,,,just don’t overdo how much hair used on sides,,,

    Razz,,,,check out this guy making his jigs,,, Big Ken is a serious jig maker but does it sometimes with alittle humor…love this guy!

    At this point in time I have about all the jigs I'll ever need so slowing way down and paying more attention to detail is what I'm working on.

    More pre-trimming and grooming afterwards and using the correct amount of hair takes some practice.

    I think I'm getting there though.

    Doing great brother,,,I started several years ago and just started learning new tricks,,, but each trick is time consuming …I watch a lot of videos and this guy Big Ken is one of the best I’ve learned numberous tricks from,,,,he is an excellent teacher,,,

    Yes,,,,just take your time and don’t take off more then you want,,,can’t really put more on after jig is finalized,,,sometimes I wait until it’s totally done, then while in box, next to sister jigs I trim to make them all even according to the best jig I made…

    See older jigs above still catch fish, just don’t look as purdy….lower lines done recent..
