Each of you have presented great ideas. I'm a minimalist at heart but enjoy having variety too. The shoebox idea is out of the question. That would work great for home storage. Maybe I do a combination of both... leave some in bags and only pack 5 of each in the plano case

I thought you meant for the boat. Here"s what I use at home:

Tempted to sell many of them on Ebay - especially many of the 400 crankbaits I own which I'll never use in this lifetime.

This is what I use. I can add zip lock bags to it when I need to. Works well for me on my boat & when I walk the bank in the late fall & early winter. Seems to keep mine better than when I used the Plano boxes. Just my opinion. Name: 20220328_190355.jpg

I’ve always just leave them in the package they came in. Don’t last long anyway. ?

LOL. . .loved the Kevin Rodgers video!!! That is going to be my new storage technique. Are those holes drilled in his boxes? I wouldn't think so due to leakage and mess, but it sure does look like it. . .???

I use a BassMafia 3700 Bait Coffin box. They are expensive but the best box I’ve ever used. Very hard plastic, has dividers to make 48 compartments and has a seal to keep oil from leaking out if it’s on its side or end. It also keeps the sun from bleaching out colors since it is a colored plastic.
