Look at my 2nd set of pictures. Second picture down. Inside the zipper pocket on the left is a bungie cord with a clip on it. Maybe this is how you connect to the kill switch cord. If that is what it is for, it is not a good design..

Don, if the PFD is several years old I would install a re-arming kit in it. Better safe than sorry.

I always blow ours up manually once a year with a air mattress inflater and leave them over set night.The ones that are scheduled to be rearmed I dip the in water to see if they fire,or pull the manual cord.So far they always worked.
