Buckeye, I met a man today named Joe at the ramp and he and a friend, Scott, are both retirement age and fishing in a small gheenoe. I told him that I liked his boat but my knees didn’t. He lifted the legs of his shorts just a little and showed me the scars from having both knees replaced. He was remarkably active and had he not told me I would have had no idea of the work he had done. Your day will come , my friend. The discomfort you’re having to endure will one day soon be in the rear view mirror and you’ll be back to doing what you love.
