First half of the day. Shooting docks. 12 dinks and a 10 minute battle with a catfish that I drop a jig on deep under a dock. Ran into 5 other boats shooting docks. Water temp was 70 degrees. The fog was horrible this morning. Resting now. Going to build a floating light and get the jugs ready. I will be taking the one of the nieces with me tonight. Second half of the action starts at dark.

G, I’ve been going but the website isn’t “salty stuff.com” so I’m feeling a little out of place. Having fun, just don’t want to wear out my welcome. But I agree, pickins are a might slim.
Buckeye, I met a man today named Joe at the ramp and he and a friend, Scott, are both retirement age and fishing in a small gheenoe. I told him that I liked his boat but my knees didn’t. He lifted the legs of his shorts just a little and showed me the scars from having both knees replaced. He was remarkably active and had he not told me I would have had no idea of the work he had done. Your day will come , my friend. The discomfort you’re having to endure will one day soon be in the rear view mirror and you’ll be back to doing what you love. I’ll be thinking of you in the days to come and know my prayers for their skills and your comfort will go on til you’re back up and running.
Those of us here in the northern states will be winding down before too long (except for maybe a few ice fishing reports) just in time for you guys in the south to get wound up for your winter fishing. There's a heck of a lot more you there than there is here so I think you'll have a bunch to choose from shortly.
Was 47 degrees here this morning so fall is certainly on the way.
