    Finding the rod might be a different story lol…..you didn’t miss anything, it’s just that these days shipping and inventory is extremely messed up because of the pandemic. Bass pro and Cabelas are now sister companies…..you can go into a Cabelas and buy a Bass Pro rod….you can also return items between the two. Check Cabelas if you can’t find it at Bass pro. Last recommendation…..go in person to Bass Pro or Cabelas or call and place an order to have that specific rod delivered to the store and you can pick it up.

    Never used the 6.5ft pro angler. I've got some 10fters. Dont use them for jigging though. Theyre my night stalking rods. That said, they've taken a ton of abuse and caught 1000s of crappie collectively

    might try the Dobyns 6 footer panfish edition , will set you back 80 greenbacks
    so far the one I have been testing has been golden , just a thought .
    it is light , fast , lots of backbone and sensitive .
    it is a one pc. though if that is part of the equation
