well i did make the purchase of the ACC Crappie stix model GS66M it has the back bone but lacks a soft tip, going to keep it and use it, i am curious so my next thought is if any one has ever fished the pro Angler 6 1/2 footer and the ACC crappie stix in 6 1/2 ft side by side, does the Pro Angler have a softer tip. i feel the ACC GS66m is a bit stiff at the tip to cast the lighter jigs. i have 2 wally Marshall rods one in 7ft and a 6 ft, they are good rods trying to find the perfect 6 1/2 footer, any thoughts

actually i did have this TCB in a 6 1/2 footer in mind too along with the pro angler

The tip of the TCB is thin is dental floss and will shatter like glass if you make a single mistake with the rod. Cost of a new tip for the TCB is 30$ plus 15$ s/h. Just an fyi.Sent from my E6910 using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app

This is what I use. I've given away TCB's (and like it's action) but I actually use and like it a lot.

My guess is people haven’t used pro angler tackle rods. They need to.
