6.5’ I’m looking for medium rod with fast tip. I want to feel the bite and swing them in the boat. No time for a net. Pro angler is top of my list.

I have the 8’ pro angler rod somewhere in the mail....lol. Hope to have before next weeks trip out.![]()
Another rod you may consider is the Denali Pryme 6’6” spinning rod. This is one on my list that I want to try.

I have a 5.5’ pro angler and I really like it ! Can feel the thump with it better than most that I have ever used!
the tip is no where near as stiff as the acc that I have felt of which are still great rods just on the stiff side for me !
I posted a thread titled “Anyone use an ACC crappie stix for casting” just recently...I also linked a video in it as well showing how the ACC’s tip responds to weight. You should have a look. After reviewing that video and hearing constantly how it’s too stiff, I didn’t buy it. I cast and retrieve small jigs mainly so I knew that wouldn’t be the best for that. I stopped trying to find the “perfect rod” at the lower price ranges, and went all out and ordered a St. Croix Panfish Series LOL….its expensive no doubt, but that’s because the materials and quality craftsmanship are top notch. I own other St. Croix rods so I know their awesomeness. I knew I had to add this to my arsenal! It’ll be here this week, I can’t wait to fish it.

I recently lost one of my pro anglers last week in the water fishing with my son. 1st time I’ve ever lost one but was worth it during his 2lb picking. I have used Huckabee 10’ rods for 6 years now and going to try the 6.5 ninja.
