I like Samsung phones for decent fast photos .
the ones we use, cost about 80 bucks at Walmart ,burner phones basically .....
they have tons of modes to capture with including macro ,panorama and selfie and on and on the list goes .
most of the time they can hold their own ,on photo quality with the much more expensive rigs .
not to be a know it all or anything but with most cameras these days it is how it is set to capture and who is operating it , do not move a hair when you pull the trigger on the capture and hope the model holds still and autofocus is your best friend

I have a Samsung Galaxy phone. My main issue is just the experiences I've had with fish flopping around after I set them down, and either making their way to the water, or injuring themselves. I like your pictures though, gives me another position to hold the fish when taking pictures.

Please excuse the world's cheapest "landing net". I wanted something that would fit in my small backpack. Name: IMG_4914.jpg

sometimes it is needed to let them settle some , most of the time i hold them until that happens .
if not they tend to get themselves dirty flopping .
