I tell you what ! ! !
That's the prettiest little girl I have ever seen, she's just a cutie pie like none other ! ! !
Bright and cheerful, friendly and ... did I say "out of this world pretty ?
I think what tops it off is her wearing that FWC uniform ....
On the other hand, her partner struck me as a "stern", but polite young feller, I think I did
get a small smile out of him when I told him "We ain't from Georgia" .......
I got the impression that he didn't believe me when I answered his question that I was
out fishin with the fellow who owns the boat (standing there with flip flops on ) ..
He went through every conceivable place looking for hidden fish ... Even my truck ...
It is somewhat rare when Jeff's clicker is correct with the count, we was scared that he
might be one over, but the feller counted every one = 24, so, counter was off ....
Tx's again Jeff = these fish go into the Slabfest fish bank for slabfests etc...
Have a nice day everybody ....
Danny

, end up parking near the Jolly Gator by the Airboats & some "good ole boys" & everybody's talking about the river speck bite & the Snipe hunting. These guys are usually known for being a little aggressive, but on this morning it would turn out the "Lake" & it's speck population that was the aggressor's, many required the pliers for hook removal. Show the baits that worked in the fish pics & the only pattern was the 6ft. contour, all colored jigs got their opportunity for action. Many throwbacks, but good to see when you put a few good one's in the box...so around 1:30pm I'm fortunate to be upgrading fish. I'm toying w/releasing them or making a surprise for a bank fisherman & remember the upcoming/pending Slabfest & give Phantom 309 a call & ask him if he wants to come pick up the mess & add to the Slabfest fund, think I heard the tires squealing out of his driveway, before he dropped the phone
...he actually was cooking cheesy grits & said he'd be there within the hr. So I mess around a little bit more in the river....NOW is where it get's interesting, see 2 (young apprentice/Saturday duty) FWC checking boats, dock boat as Danny meets me, secure boat & go on the long walk to retrieve the vehicle & get in line due to the backup...see 1 of the FWC down @ ramp shaking down Danny & he's going through my compartments looking for my bait net it turns out. Well, finally it's my turn to trailer boat, go down by boat, & I start getting the treatment, the 2 Officers wait to separate us & he ask if the guy watching my boat is with me, I reply that's my fishing partner (he didn't have to know it wasn't today), so after loading the boat, I park & we start the count, transferring fish to Danny's cooler. Admittedly, I get a little nervous knowing the clickers @ 25 & your mind starts thinking, did I miss 1 ....well it ends up a final count of (24)...SOOOO No story here, but I see Phantom's physically shaken, as 1 of the officer's is a young female Danny's ran into before. He told me he asked her of there encounter a few months prior & she didn't recall. You see Danny forgot his breath mints & guess he got embarrassed & scared to talk to her:o
...that's my story & I'm sticking to it....have a SUPER(bowl) Sunday all.....

They fit real nice in the Ollie's net!

B4 SEARCH? Yes I know, refusal brings "other" avenues for the enforcers...

Good Monday morning read!
