Hey everyone, I've been wanting to make a short trip from Brevard with my 5 year old son to Lake Kissimmee in attempt to find some speck, then of course hopefully show him something cool on Brahma Island.

I am somewhat familiar with the lake but not in regards to fishing, specifically for speck. Any advice or suggestions? Anyone been doing any good out there recently. I'll be primarily long lining as it's easier for my little man to join in on the fun Lake Kissimmee reports/advice
