On top of all of that, I snapped off the last two inches of my Yamaga Blanks TZ Nano 71 while trying to get it out of its sheath. I don’t like the design of YB rod sheaths. The closed flat on the top make it too hard to get out. I’m seriously bummed. Almost felt like turning around and going back home. Probably should have.

Very, very sorry to hear that. I know how you feel, as just yesterday I stupidly lost my handle to my Luvias spinning reel. That is the downside to fishing with this high end equipment.
