Finally
Finally got cleared to drive by my back surgeon today , had my fourth back surgery 3 weeks ago today. Still very sore but finally graduated off the walker to my cane. Walking 3-4 times a day now sure does fill good , trying to get the muscles in my lower back a hips built back up. Doctor said I could go fishing in a couple weeks as long as I didn't pull on anything or lift anything over 10 pounds. My two buddies I fish with most of the time said I could be the captain of the boat and they would do all the hooking up and loading the boat. I'm not going to push things just starting to get antsy and cabin fever. I guess I timed this surgery about right if there is such a thing but this weather has been terrible. You guys leave some for me on the Rock and Wylie , I hope to see y'all on the water.

Glad to hear all is going well with your post surgery recovery. Yes, I believe you timed the date of surgery perfectly in light of all the rain, wind and changing of the seasons fronts one behind the next.
I'm sure you will take your fishing partners up on their offer pretty soon... just to get you out of the house and to give you a change of pace even for a couple of hours.

the long liners are killing the crappie at wylie. seen a few caught this morning and thursday morning, water temp is about 60 today. we marked a lot of crappie on side imaging today they are suspended about 14 to 18 feet in creek channels. Around bait balls,we were scanning for cats and seeing plenty of crappie!
