I was told today skinny water back in creeks up to 64° by a bass fisherman.

Fished for crappie around Fearrington Point. 53-58 degrees from morning to afternoon in 10-30 feet of water. Caught a few nice slabs trolling crankbaits for about an hour.

Thanks Pond pounder, that's what I thought. It would be hard for temp. to swing that fast.

Most of the crappie I marked about 8-12 feet towards the mouth of the creek. Crankbaits were being trolled 8-10 feet deep. White and sexee shad are typically good colors to troll at 1.8 mph.

Caught 8 on Friday. Bite was slow. I was down by the Ebenezer boat ramp. Fish came from 14-17' of water trolling double jigs. All were about to bust except for two males. Saw a 2lber caught up on a rocky bank. Water temps from 61-64.

I fished Jordan Friday and caught 25 or so. Water was 60-62. The big females were in 4-6 foot of water. Three of them were 1.8 pounds or better and about to burst. Others were staging just off these areas, seems like they are transitioning, just not on fire yet.
