Spider riggin 10 poles most of the time ... With the outside pole on each side running a jig under a slip bobber fairly shallow ...

This accomplishes a few things ...:

*It allows more baits in the water ... but not having to concentrate on these 2 shallow running poles ...
*It allows having a slip bobber handy if there happens to be a target away from the boat that a slip bobber can be casted to ... (It is possible to cast a slip bobber on a long spider riggin pole) ...
*It catches a few extra fish while concentrating on the remaining 8 poles ...

Note: it is beneficial to have a bobber stop below and above the slip bobber to keep the slip bobber from sliding down toward the bait with forward movement of the bait thru water ...
