    Default Snakes Are Out!

Snakes are coming, and you’re just going to have to deal with it

Hey guys. For you all who bank fish, be sure to keep ya eyes peeled! I already saw 3 this week. Water snakes, but still, 3!

A buddy of mine the other day said he saw a Cottonmouth at Town Creek and a Copper Head close to the Guntersville State Park.

    Y'all be safe out there!

I'm a huge reptile nerd, so I love finding snakes. I even have a crappy series of "educational" snake videos on YouTube (Snakes of Alabama). I understand a lot of people don't like them, but as long as you watch where you put your hands and feet, you're not in any danger.

Here's one of the dozens of snakes I've found so far this year. Northern Cottonmouth (Agkistrodon piscivorus).

Now that would make a nice pair of boots! Lol too close for me! I stepped out of the truck the other day after I just launched my boat and I felt my foot move and I’m glad it was just a rat snake I had just stepped right on top of one .I did have my pistol In my hand but if it been a copperhead I’d been bit! So be sure to watch where you put ur hands and feet! I don’t bother them if they don’t bother me!

Yep been seeing them for a while now. No need to worry just watch you step. I just admire them and walk around them. I Turkey hunt and you see them a lot. Long as they aren't in my yard I just walk around them, they got a job to do just like every thing else.

I don’t mind them long as I have room to get out of there way and can see them. I was gonna ask eminart if that’s him in the videos how he spots them that way.

I generally give em all a pass except cotton mouths. They've just generally got a bad attitude.
