Follow up from today. Didn't find many in the morning fishing standing trees. We switched over to spider rigging around 11 and ended up with 15 keepers and this beauty...
Caught most 8 to 12 feet deep in 25 to 35 FOW. Bite was very light and missed lots of fish and several got off at the boat. Water temp started at 58.5 and by the afternoon it was 62. Color wasn't bad at all considering the recent rain. Lots of debris floating though. Didn't talk to anyone doing better than us. Similar stories everywhere but the fish are definately scattered.

on my Road Runner. He was fishing minners under a float about a foot or so & said he had 13 Crappie & a 16" Saugeye, and had thrown back a handful of undersized Saugeye. He was on the roadbed that goes into the water at the pocket to the right of the Settlers launch ramp when we talked to him, but I don't know if that's where he caught his fish.
