    They will be on the banks before you know it. March is always tough on them. I'm missing out on a lot of fishing because of this crud I picked up 4 weeks ago. I think when I'm ready to go, first plan will be Monticello for some perch and then hit the shore lines tight lining on Lake Wylie for what ever.

    Yes you can
    Simply drill a big enough hole through the center of the base until the umbrella is stable. Generally, try and stop before you drill through the hull
