The past couple of weeks I have been fishing down the lake as the waters are clear and after almost another inch of rain yesterday and 100% chance tomorrow I went to the rivers today and water heavy stained and trashy with temps up to 54 degrees.
Slow but steady bite on dark colors with chartreuse tipped with small minnows.
I pushed double rigs because of the floating debris and baitfish and crappie were at all depths l noticed on sonar.
Greenwood appears to have a young population of crappie coming on.
Kept a few today for the knife as mother in law informed me she was out of fish again.
Cold weather next week may cool the water temps a little.
