Pretty color! I have a couple colors of powder paint I haven't used yet. Figured I would use a candle or heat gun. I need to check into alcohol burner I guess??

So far I've just been using fingernail polish.

I have a 1/16 jig i cut off the tip, and straightened it out.
Jam it in the eye whilst its still warm.

I hold the jig by the eye with needle nose pliers. 99% of the jigs that I’ve done have no paint on the eye

Painting Jigs, my fish don't seem to matter that my jogs aren't painted at all. Don't tell them and they won't know.

Whatever you do clean those jig eyes out before you throw it in the toaster oven to cure it.

You have many comments here, but a heat gun from Harbor Freight is by far the best option. No fire, no concern with melting lead, safe and efficient. Holding jig by eye when heating and covering with powder coat is by far the best, easiest, and most affective way of keeping eyelet open.
