    Had 60+ perch in the cooler. Caught a lot of small throw backs too. Slider jigs!! Caught 10+ 5 pounders and these 2 also. I had my scales today so no guessing. Name:  IMG_4627.jpg

    Y'all did very good. We fished the lower end(Monday) where we caught our fish last Friday but they had moved. Drifted cut bait for cats most of the time. We caught 8 blues about mid lake. All the perch(about 30) were small. Used cut bait, minnows & spoons.

    Looks like we should have been using the sliders you are talking about.

    Never been to Monticello but I'd like to try it. I might just have to pull up anchor and go next week! Can I get my pontoon in there or is it best to use a smaller boat?

    there is a good ramp down there Ron iv got a few friends that take pontoons there with no problem getting in or out
    let me know if you get a trip lined up and if at all possible ill go with you. its a pretty long haul down there

    This is the address for the ramp I’m using. Close to where I’m fishing. Only been burning about 1 gallon of gas. Don’t get any better than that.

    Yes, it’s the furthest from the power plant.
