Charlie's pond has a lot of structure in it so the floating lure works really well.
We also had good luck using fly rods. Name: 20180621_083202_HDR.jpeg

I left Charlie's Thursday and came to Southport to visit my friend Joe. We went out on the pier near his house and I caught my first Black Drum. I got a 22" one, a decent size Pigfish and had three nice ones break me off.. These boys are strong and it is hard to get them turned before the wrap you in the pier.
Joe just finished cleaning them as I typed this. Some fine eating tonight. Mixed bag of fishing Name: 20180622_113848.jpeg
