Move the troller at an angle. Its using a lot of needed space that might help a good bit in where you mount the rack. It looks like you're losing a lot of your rod length with the racks that far back.

Look at toggler stainless steel fastners for mounting your seat base. Drill a 5/8" hole insert the toggler, lock it in place break off the plastic legs and bolt the base in place. I have used them on a couple of bases and they work great as long as the aluminum floor is strong enough. Home Depot or Lowe's may have them in stainless. Also Scott at HiTek I think would be willing to custom fab you some posts to the height or off set you want for your rod holders.

Since we brought up shorter bars... where do y’all typically like ur rods to be that makes them the easiest to get to quick?? Knee height? Higher? I’m thinking possibly 12in bars vs the factory 18in?
