That is a solid possibility... hadn’t even considered that. Gonna research the rivet route first and see if that could work.

wouldn't try that UNLESS there's support UNDER the floor as just that aluminum is probably to thin by it self

You could cut a hole in the back of the deck with a hole saw big enough to reach through and put nuts on the bolts for a new pedestal. You should be able to find a cover for the hole at a boat supply company. How is the pedestal you have now secured? You don't think the offset pedestal would move you forward enough?

I honestly don’t remember how the current one is mounted bc I have a neo-mat and don’t see the actual base. I would assume welded. I think the bushing is worn out tho bc my seat has a lot of movement. I considered cutting an access hole as well. How much does an offset pedestal move you forward?? That would likely be my easiest and cheapest move to try.

I don’t think my boat is wide enough to accommodate 2 seats up there with trolling motor. Them dudes are expensive lol. Do u know if they make a single post extension like that?

Move seat bases closer and use rivnuts to mount the bases. If you have never used rivnuts they are solid as a rock when installed correctly.
