    Nothing wrong with a good debate on a fish ID.

    IMO There was only one bad post and that doesn't mean the rest of the post were bad or not to countine the debate. Call out the bad post, don't bad mouth the debate. It makes for good learning. Or bad english on my part.

    I agree JR that in a good debate or rather discussion we can all learn something up to a certain point then it turns to arguing. Well I guess we did, we learned that nobody knows for sure what it is officially but I imagine one of you may be right. I agree with "G" we should all agree to disagree and bring it to an honorable end for all.

    Lol some people don't have anything to do, but the picture of the fish without the foot is what I call a red spotted sun fish they very rarely get bigger than 6 inches. The fish with the foot we have caught as big as 8 inches.

    Debate , Rebate ,, I am glad the Gale force stopped and the fish are healthy, fun and good eating.. If I catch a 6 ounce crappie I will put it up for the Golden Shinner
