    My father-in-law lost the tip of his ring finger in a table saw accident. He always said the only problem he had was that crickets always escaped from his hand.

    Did that! Son took one of them so I bought another one. Also, I don't think they tip over as easy (although I have knocked mine over once).

    It's not a red spotted sunfish it is definitely a crossbreed I've caught them in Henderson

    I don't agree. Pretty sure it's the good ole stumpknocker. If it's a cross, what would the two parents be?

    The current copy of the Louisiana Sportsman is their bream bash. They describe several types, with pictures, along with a very good writeup on each. That's where I got my information. I enjoyed reading the article as well on the fellow who loads the boat with crappie at D'Arbonne. I receive it here at the house every month. Ya'll check it out.

    This looks like one of those hybrids the wildlife guys released in the basin a few years ago...cross between a shell cracker/bluegill...they were supposed to get really big..but never caught one over 1 lb

    This is a red spotted sunfish, Henderson is full of them.
