    Default Late spawn

NWS indicates memphis had 3rd coolest April on record. I’m sure that’s true for most of the immediate area. Why I say spawn is far from over.

Everything seems to be about in line from what little I know. Think we put to much emphasis on spawn times, water temp, air temp, moon phase, barometric pressure, what hat we are wearing that day etc. These fish going to do their thing when they think it's the right time, not the weatherman or the fishermen, if crappie read CDC then they would be appalled

I agree Snubby . we just need to go . I truly believe it is a new game each and every day . the spawn will happen for the next month at least . The main time may have or may not have already come , but is or has happened or will be happening for next few weeks . Crappie fishing should be fun . I had a great day yesterday not because of the fish we caught because i was fishing with my brother . The fish would laugh at all the money we spend and all the gadgets we try . Some work and some I am not sure of . i believe we have another day to fish spawn or not . I can hear them laughing .
    CATCH THEM ALL.

you can take the word of 2 crappie!!!!!
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

They will spawn when they are ready, that's all I know. I do know for a fact fish have been caught in all stages of the spawn and pre-spawn at the Rez today.

23 females yesterday @ Sardis. All completely spawned. Only fish the past week or so I’ve seen still holding large egg sacks, have been bigger fish over 16”.
