But when I chose to do so, I do it right!soaked the fillets in an egg and buttermilk mix, tossed in seasoned cornmeal, then fried in my Wok. Seasoned Checkers fries, the cole slaw is compliments of KFC, "it's just good and easy". Drink was Ketel One vodaka with pomegranate juice.

I must admit . Too much southern in me. I always fry mine and use use Bearden Farms batter mix.

Man, those fillets look awesome! Can't get much more southern than buttermilk, egg and seasoning your own cornmeal. Some of my relatives who have passed on would think store bought batter a disgrace and wouldn't allow it. Now the wok, ketel one and checker fries may not be a southern tradition, but by gosh KFC cole slaw is!!!![]()
