And to think that it was done here in Pa. Chaunc sure knows the lake, and the fish. I think the fish panic, every time he gets on the lake.

What was his fishing technique? Hanging rods over the side and just drifting around or was his trolling motor moving him over the area

Using the trolling motor to swing back and forth over the brushpiles.

Would the 12' Grumman i leave at our Cameron co camp be enough boat to fish places like Shenango?
Or would i be wise to trailer a larger one from Florida?

Yobuck, the lake has no horse power restrictions, so you will be dealing with jetskis and skiers, and fast boats. If the Grumman has higher sides, not like some john boats, you should be okay. Knowing the lake is another thing, as there are lots of coves and stuff to get out of the way of the crazies. At Parker's Landing, by launching and going under the bridge, that is a 10 horse power area, so that is a safe place to be too. So ask away, and we can help you. Pymy would be another lake to fish, as it has a 20 hp limit, and Lake Wilhelm, and Lake Authur are 20 hp too.

Well thanks S10, i'll give some thought to all that. It's a long trip over there from our camp near Driftwood, so it would require a several day trip if i left from there. Might be best to trailer my boat from here and make a stop there first for a couple days, then a possible repeat stop on my way back. I do use I 79 for part of the trip but normally only to Morgantown where i then take 68 east.
Also, what can you tell me about Glendale lake at Prince Gallitzin SP as for the crappie fishing?
Ive gone over there on a scouting run but have not been back to fish.
Ive also been to the lake near Curwensville one time, but left with better feeling about it than i got from Bald Eagle.
