Out on Beaverdam about 7 this morning. Bite was good till about 9. Marked some fish out at the mouth but no bites. Moved way on towards the back of the creek in about 14'. Using 1/16 jig with minnows, caught 20 crappies & a few perch. Had 5 too small, the rest about a lb. John Deere green & Monkey milk were the jig colors.

Tried Torrence creek for a while but no bites.

Those are great universal colors on a lot of lakes.

Hey Charles thanks for the report. Fish seem to be scattered is that what you think also or are they crowding the banks?

I think some are already on the banks. Still a lot more to come in, especially towards the full moon later this month. Those that I caught yesterday were a couple of hundred yards further back from just the day before.
