From what I read in the regs two poles per person with no more than two hooks per line. Reason I ask, watched crappie masters tv Carlyle lake saw one boat with two guys in boat with 6 poles across the front spider rigging.

Most lakes are posted 2 pole and line only if it’s not posted you can use up to 50 hooks as long as anything after two devices is tagged with a name and address
be very careful with that 3 lines trolling. The co's around Kankakee area do not allow that rule
Bassing, where are you trolling around kankakee? I've tried the river but just get hung too much to keep trolling

Page 8 of the 2018 Illinois fishing Regulations state:

Mazonia, Braidwood etc.
I've never tried mazonia for crappie and I swore to never go back to braidwood after a windy day with some lower unit damage. I've done pretty good at heidecke the last few years though
