    Crappie are working for the jig (bait)companies. When I get my boat stocked with a certain color that they bite. Then they change the bite to a different color or style. So I have to go back and buy some more.:rolleyes:

    Conditions and time of year play a big part in certain colors workn, keep'n a log really helps dial in on colors, action, depth, ect...
    Helps me put lotsa crappie feesh in my boat.... consistently....

    I catch a lot of fish on orange combinations. Mostly orange with brown, or with chart. 1st thing I go for in stained water and cloudy sky situation.

    Never really used the color Orange but from what I'm reading I'm missing out.
