I'm not much on spider rigging, well mostly cause I'm no good at it. But I'm gonna learn it one day...

Hey there, I've been long lining and I'm getting hung up terribly. I'm using 1/8 jigs and roadrunners. If I go to a lighter jig size will it help on getting hung up? I expect to get hung some but geez it's like every five minutes and it's almost too much to deal with!
