In the olden days we fished for Crappie with what they call bass minnows and #1 hooks 2" floats. The Crappie would pull the float under once then it'd pop up you'd set the hook on the second run. I used this last two times trolling and I am impressed. I was surprised how this out fish other baits and color on a cloudy day and stained water. I would have thought this was a more clear water color. I am getting hooked on this bait and color.

What size/ color jig head are you using? I just pick up some of those the other day.

He was using 1/16 and tipping these with minnows too, those baits are great over brush, no minnows needed

I used these jig bodies in Chart/Red Flake at hartwell yesterday. Had Chart/white curly tails on too. The bobby garland out peformed by a long shot.
