6" between, sinker on bottom or center with a 6" leader. Snap swivel on main line at water level. 4' of water. I could see fish running away from the boat.

I push 4 weedless horsehead jigs with spinners of varying colors and shaped blades, usually with a minnow on back,14' poles, a split shot of different sizes crimped on the line from 6 to 12"'s above the jig depending on how fast I'm moving and the depth of the water.I trim the weed guards back to a tapered point with only a couple strands covering the hook point to increase hookups. This rig usually will get through fairly thick obstructions unless you pass through a stake bed then you may hang. Another advantage is you can fish it like you were single poling if you do come up on a fishy spot without having too much weight on your line so you can tight line vertical into the cover reeling the other poles up while you do this.I always carry 4 poles rigged for spidering with the regular set up with 1/2 ounce weights for deeper water.I carry 1 spinning rod with jig and cork when you need to cast to the fish. And I carry the Ozark 11" jigging pole when I want to feel the thump!!!!It's been so long since I fished last it's hard to remember just how I used to do it!

I make double rigs 18” separation and use them most times 6-10’ of water. Singles inside of that. If I need two baits per line to catch fish on 4’ of water, I may need to reconsider some things...
