I watched/helped a friend do his tracker a couple years back, me and 2 guys scraped on just the back deck 2 hours or better. Glue! It was a major project to say the least.

Roger, I've already vowed the same thing. Next one I do, I'll fork over the money or get it sprayed with Line X.

chuckster, one thing about owning a business with plenty of metal fab tools.... I'm not scraping glue. I plan to use a scotchbrite pad on a right angle die grinder (15,000-20,000 rpm) and if that doesn't work I'll use a grinder with sanding disk or if comes down to it, I'll sand blast it off.

FurFlyin, a knotted wire brush on a side grinder works good on the wide open spaces just go lighty and the rubber bristle pads worked good on the die grinder....good luck.

That's some hard work going on there. Sure you'll be happy with it when you're done.

Why don't you use some paint stripper on it Fur. Something like Zip strip. Put it on, let it sit a few minutes and take it off.

My uncle does upholstery for a living and I've helped him do more seats than I can count. I'll see how he removes the glue on a re carpet job.

Hadn't considered it. I'll definitely give it a try on the hard to reach spots. The rest of the glue removal, on the floor and decks will be a non issue. It has very little glue on it. Either the factory glue wasn't very good or it's just deteriorated to the point that it's gone. There are spots on the deck that look like there was never glue on them to start with.
