Welcome, I`ve never try using a scent. I`m a minnow and jig man myself, but up for anything that catches crappie. (So I`ll keep up with this post)

DKR, I've always been a minnow and jig man myself. Until this year. Those nibbles are amazing. I've even started putting them on a stright hook with a minnow, and there's times it seems like they want a nibble when they won't hit a minnow. I'd never have believed it, but try them and tell me what you think.

Thanks y'all. All this info is great so let's keep it coming, we can really help each other out. I'll definately try the nibbles, cod liver oil and/or combinations of herring, clam, craw and fish oil.

Heard about this last night on a show called Whitewater. He uses something called ANISE OIL. Said you could pick it up at most pharmacies OTC. Something the old timers used.
