Gas gauge
Has anyone ever installed a gas sending unit in a portable tank that would read on a gauge on the dash? I have an old Tracker with portable tanks undefeated the rear floor and would like to be able to see how much gas is in the tank from the divers seat.

I have never seen it and don't think you would find one designed for that. Most portable tanks don't have the opening to get one in.

I'll have to measure but I think my tank is less than nine inches tall ( which is the shortest sending unit shown)
